This is how the engine looked originally.

Here are the pistons and as you can see they were very dirty and had a lot of hard sot on them. These were cleaned as you can see in the next picture. I also replaced the pistonrings.  I also replaced all the bearings in the engine with new ones.

Here you see a special top wich is custom made to give more horse powers and further down you can see the new camchain.

Here is the flywheel. It's custom made and it weights less than the original one. Notice the cooling threads.

Furthermore, a new sharper 288 degree rally camshaft is installed, new fuelpump, new steel embrodded pipes, new synchro rings in the gearbox, new bigger Weber 34 carburator, open filter, new clutch and better sparkplugs.  
 
The hp output should be over 80 hp now.

After putting the engine back and running it in I went to have it properly set up. At TG Motor just outside Malmö they set up my carburator and ignition. I ran 70 hp at 6800 rpm on the wheels.  The equipment was very unmodern and old, it could not meassure my torque power. It needed to be manually mathematichally calculated which we did not do. Furthermore we had problems fitting the car on the rollers without the underbody touching the rollers. All in all, atleast I have some Idea what HP I am running now.

Next step was to take care of all the rust around the lower parts of the car. This work is time consuming and difficult and as you can see there is a lot of rust. But finally it was done and I could now attach the Angsten RS kit.

Here is how the kit looked like when I got it. The exeption is the frontspoiler, I did not recieve the original spoiler but instead the red spoiler further down which is bigger and has more "lip" in order to generate more downforce.
